Microlithics Processing Rates

Our processing rates this season for indicator mineral processing, assuming approximately 12 litre till samples will be $200 per sample.  A 3.35 sg concentrate of the 0.25 to 0.5 mm fraction will be generated and observed or shipped to the observation lab of your choice.

Our process delivers a clean, non toxic concentrate with smaller than average concentrate size which will reduce observation costs. Non KIM quality control grains will be inserted in up to 10% of the samples for extraction at the observation laboratory. Extraction of quality control grains at Microlithics is available on request.

A week’s notice prior to sample arrival at the lab would be greatly appreciated in order to facilitate a quick start to the processing.

A typical sample flow sheet for the 0.25 to 0.5 mm fraction is available upon request.  Once the project is complete a sample database will be forwarded giving you detailed process information including all photographs and station logs.
