Micro Fusion Analysis

This is a similar process to caustic fusion but more sensitive and on a smaller scale. It is used to analyse smaller kimberlite samples or large residues left over from the initial caustic fusion residues. It is also often used to clean up diamonds that are encrusted with kimberlitic material.
